Pre Podcast Blog

 For our groups podcast, we will bo doing ours on fashion. However, the fashion we have decided to talk about is a little bit different. For our podcast, we will be talking about our own personal design choices, what inspires what we wear, and why. This can be everything from brand loyalty to background of where we come from.

One of the major forms of medium that will hep us with our podcast is video. Video is one of the main aspects of a podcast and it is one that will help us a ton. An example of a documentary that I will be listening to for preparation of our podcast will be Fashion Reimagined. The reason why we will be using this documentary for our example is because it is a good backbone of all of our fashion choices. All of us are from America and we believe that this documentary is a good summary of all of our backgrounds put on paper which will make it a good study and reference point for our fashion discussions. 

Another medium I will be using is audio. The reason why this one is going to be super important is because podcasts are all about audio. Without using and understanding how to use the best forms of audio, you cannot have a good podcast. One podcast that we will be using as a good reference is the American Fashion podcast. Not only does it give great background, but is gives a good idea of what to look for and discuss when we are finding major talking and discussion points during our podcast. Also being able to watch something will give us a good visual on what to see in our discussions.

Another medium we can use is also writing. There are many blogs that discuss fashion and the one that I will be reading for ideas is called the New York Fashion Blogger. While it does focus more on the luxury side of fashion, the blogs themselves are written by experts who know what they are talking about. Being able to get reference from them will be crucial because it is always good to learn from experts when it comes to discussions about major broad topics such as discussions.

Lastly, one visual aspect we will be using for ours is an image I found about fashion in the outer banks. While this may sound different, my fashion sense is inspired by costal themes. I like to wear clothes many would wear by water or the seaside so the image is a good representation of what I like to wear.
